This week started off as a sad week for most of us at Hokitika Primary School. After some strong winds in the early hours of Sunday morning, the beloved tree fell over crashing over the fence to the paddock next door, and was accompanied by the school pool roof.

This led Rūma Tūī to become news reporters who have investigated the damage (from a safe distance behind the fence), written up details, and interviewed fellow students about the impact of such an event.

Students will post their news reports on their own individual blogs once they are finished, and we look forward to reading them all.
